We are very pleased to welcome members of both traditional and new media and press to cover TravelCom 2010! We are offering a limited number of complimentary press passes to members of media/press.
Members of the press who qualify but do not apply in time to be considered for complimentary registration will have the option to register at the TravelCom press rate of $750.00 or a one day pass at $300.00 for any chosen day of the conference. To be considered for complimentary press passes, applicants must apply by February 15, 2010. All applicants will be reviewed by members of the TravelCom Advisory Board and contacted within 7 days of receipt of application.
We will accommodate the press as best as we can and will provide information of specific interviews that will be available with select speakers during the conference. Qualified media are granted:
- 3-day complimentary press passes that include admittance to all conference agendas, cocktail receptions and luncheons.
- Access to the Press Room which will be specially designed to accommodate the attending press and for prearranged and pre-determined interviews will be provided.
Possible coverage opportunities for the Press include:
- Press conferences, live podcasts and interviews with the most prestigious group of travel industry leaders, mobile media experts, world renowned research developers and social media professionals.
- Live technology demonstrations and possible product releases including but not limited to mobile media applications and social media applications.

If you are interested in attending TravelCom 2010 on assignment to cover the conference please fill out the media registration application in order to qualify for a press pass. Only a limited number of qualified press will receive complimentary passes so be sure to apply today!
PLEASE NOTE: TravelCom 2010 reserves the right to deny press passes to applicants without reason, during both on-site and pre-registration. During the three-day event members of the press are not authorized to sell and or promote any company or product. The following positions are not eligible for press passes: ad sales, marketing, public relations, publishing, and promotions. All qualified media must be prepared to show valid photo identification, in person, to pick up press pass.
MEDIA & PRESS QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
Business card must contain the following:
- Contact Name
- Media outlet name: The company name printed on your badge MUST be the company used for verification. All applicants must use a specific outlet name, not a parent company.
- Editorial title
Print and online publications must submit a recent masthead with their application.
Freelancers may submit a byline published within the last six months in lieu of a business card. You will be asked to submit recent, relevant bylined articles along with a description of your qualifications. When submitting links to web sites please make sure they accurately point to a masthead that is featuring the applicant’s article and authorship clearly.
Print Media must include a digital copy of a recently published article with intended applicant listed in the masthead or in the byline or an article. Publications must have a verified circulation greater than 1,000.
Radio and Online Broadcast must have current web site with online broadcast available or acceptable recorded programming with station identification.
Web Publications must have proof of an existing secure site with relevant editorial content. The web publication must be a previously established, independent site that is regularly updated with original and current broadcast-related news. Please attach byline to applications.
